Missions

Here at Evangel Church, we are highly missions-focused.  We believe and try to practice what is known as "the Great Commmision" ... Jesus' command to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel."  We believe in 3 aspects of missions ... PRAYING for missionaries who have been sent and for others to be raised up to go to the ends of the earth ... GIVING to support missions endeavours and missionaries in various regions of the world ... and GOING to the nations ourselves, through individuals in our church we have sent out, and teams that we send out on short-term trips to work on projects in various regions of the world.

You can learn more about these different aspects of our missions work and the missionaries we support by clicking on one of the above focuses of our call to missions.

As a member church in the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, we partner with the denomination in its missions ventures.  There are about 100 full-time missionary families and dozens of other short-term people who serve in approximately 40 countries around the world.  Learn more about these missionaries and the missions vision of the PAOC by clicking here.
